Seller's Description:
Near Fine in Very Good jacket. Book. 8vo-over 7¾-9¾" tall. The story of America's first official war correspondents---a curious group of semi-professional adventurers who soldiered with the armys, got the news, and relayed it newspaper readers in the North. A lively, interesting account. Text block is tight and complete. There is some staining at the glue joints of the front and rear paste down. Dust jacket shows a tiny bit of fading to the back strip and a tiny amount of chipping to the top and bottom of the back strip. All in all an excellent copy.
