Has a 4 horse power engine, and 60 Jacquard looms. Makes annually 15,900 arshins of velvet, value 55,195 rubles; satins, value 56,000 rubles; silk handkerchiefs, value 25,000 rubles; and various silk goods, value 50,000 rubles. Sold at Moscow, Nijni fair, and in the Ukraine. Velvets on cotton warp, 11 vershoks wide, at 2 rubles 60 copecks per arshin. Splendid dark crimson velvet, all of Persian or Italian silk, 12 vershoks wide, at 6 rubles per arshin. 144 P Baywrtsche Staatsblbltothtk MQnchan Mixed cotton and wool mill and dyehouse, in Moscow, established 1820. Has 350 hand and Jacquard looms, and 59 power looms, employing 680 hands. There are also 400 looms working out. Yearly production to the value of 800,000 rubles. Sold principally in Moscow, and at the fairs. The lutestrings 18 vershoks wide. Very good at 55 copecks per arshin. Manufactory of mixed goods in Moscow, established in 1846; and one for power weaving, dyeing, and finishing, in the Province of Kaluga, Maloyaroslavitz District established in 1858. Employ 940 hands and 250 winders. Have one 40 horse power engine, with 3 boilers; 319 power and 170 hand looms, and 70 Jacquard looms. Value of annual production, 450,000 rubles. Sold in Moscow.
