From personal experience, I say that the hot, strong, so-called Sherries supplied at many hotels, and used in many families, are disgraceful to those who sell and dangerous to those who drink them. I do not join in the sensational outcry about drawing-room alco holism; but say, as a simple fact, that Sherries are often given to women which are too strong to be safe.
