Seller's Description:
None. Very Good Indeed in Very Good Indeed jacket. A first edition of this pulp-era science fiction novel by Raymond Jones, with the original dustwrapper. The blurb explains: "In the distant future, a strange plan for civilisation is being followed by man. Two different planet are involved, two separate worlds in space-and yet they are joined, though only by a mysterious pathway whose secret very few know." A fine example of the cultural phenomenon of mass science fiction writing at the beginning of the space age. In the original cloth with the unclipped dustwrapper, which is encased in a glassine wrap. Externally smart with a little bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of the spine. THe Dustwrapper is smart with a little wear to the extremities and a chip from the top front cover near the spine. Internally a little age toned towards the edges but otherwise clean and firmly bound. Very Good Indeed.
