America's 14th Poet-Laureate (2006-2007). He was a teacher, editor, poet, literary critic and writer. He was honored with the Robert Frost Medal & The National Medal for the Arts. He was plain-spoken writer with a "longing "for a more bucoclic past." He was married twice. His last wife was the talented and beautiful, Jane Keyon, who was an American Poet & translator. The book itself is in really nice condition with one flaw...that is, that the jacket is price-clipped. The book was illustrated by Emil Antonucci. This copy is in a protective, archival mylar jacket. It's a fine copy for the Donald Hall collector!
