Relentless Realities is a collection of poems about the relentlessness of life. This section is arranged into seven sections; these subdivisions reflect some themes I would like to share with the reader. I think of them as more like songs and cries as opposed to simple compositions. Part two is entitled Relentless Realities (The Long Songs ) and encapsulates my longer poems. The Long Songs are my epic poems of death, the battle between hope and hopelessness, illness, watching people you love crumble before your very eyes, life as you understand it, history, and finally the resilience of man through the use of hope.
