The main reasons to watch this Randal Kleiser version of "Red Riding Hood" are four. You are a somewhat liberal parent with children (probably girls) who like to sing along with an agreeably silly movie. You are a Henry Cavill (looking really good) aficionado, or Joey Fatone fan. You appreciate what Randal Kleiser has contributed to the movie industry. You are a high definition wiz or want to experience one of the most recent accomplishments in the world of high definition movie making. I added a star for each reason, then took one back because of some weak points with this production. There are some strong points not mentioned above, like the fun songs to overwhelm about a bunch of moments (especially in the beginning of the movie) that really lag. The work has a main raison d'etre of this live in real time virtual reality testing using new hardware and software from the United States and Europe. Inter-active virtual reality scenes include curious or puffy singing quips that are witty and fine accomplishments, making this version of "Red Riding Hood" worth watching.
