This is the third book of Derek Robinsons' "Luis Cabrillo" series. It is not necessary to have the previous two books, but it would help.
Mr Robinson has become one of my favorite authors, his work is always a pleasure to read. A pity that it seems difficult to find his work. Probably one of the most under-rated authors around.
