The rare true first edition, first printing of this uncommon work of Ohio history. Howes D-398. The 1860 second edition is uncommon as well. Thomson (A Bibliography of the State of Ohio) notes author Jacob Richards Dodge lifted much of the text from other books. WorldCat locates only two copies of this edition.
