Amusing but not suspenseful
You might need to be from New Mexico to get a kick out of this one although I have loaned it to someone from Georgia and he enjoyed it. I wouldn't say this book is plot driven, but it is definitely character driven. The murder investigation story is more "scenery" for the real story which is about a new preppy lawyer trying to adjust to law in the wild west. The author did a good job depicting some of the more colorful characters you might find in my home state. Although not as funny as 'Night of the Avenging Blowfish" this could be one to put on your list if you're looking for a light, fun read.
