It didn't take long, at first it was normal things for a young toddler to obsess over, from balls to boxes to television shows. One of his favorite obsessions was rocking and sometimes, the harder the better, as he grew older it moved from rocking with me in a chair to sitting on the couch and doing what we called bumping his head on the back of the couch as he rocked. He usually does this while watching one of his favorite television shows or while playing a video game on the Xbox. I learned it helps him to calm down and does something to help his brain.
