It meets the standards that Cussler has set for himself. And this one was prior to the boilerplate books he's co-writing these days.

Thought provoking
As always Mr Cussler raises some very good thoughts fixed with intrigue. One needs to read and remember the plot lines to fully be aware of the outcome does come about.
ENJOY A GREAT BOOK!

Nice adventure story!
Obviously we know a lot more now about the sinking of the Titanic which makes the actual story of this book simply good fiction with not as much factual basis. Setting that aside, this becomes a very interesting adventure story about what could have happened had it been possible to really raise the luxury liner. A very good read!
