Seller's Description:
Good + 12mo, 211pp. A good or better copy in the publisher's printed wraps. Some creases to wraps, rubbing to joints, the spine mildly cocked, and a small owner's name in ink on the first page. In a small section of about eight pages, there were previously some isolated pencil markings in the text, which have been competently erased. Some of the erasures have slightly affected the richness of some of the printed text (see images). Else a clean, sound copy of an increasingly rare book, King's first under the Bachman pseudonym. To date his most controversial book, it tells the story of what we now call a "school shooter." In 1997, after several actual school shooting incidents in which the perpetrator had previously read "Rage, " King instructed his publishers not to reprint the book, even as part of the "Bachman Books" omnibus.
