Quilts
If you have any degree of interest in quilts, the making of them and their history, and even if you think you don't have such an interest, then do please read this book - it will blow your socks off!! It not only shows you wonderful examples of quilts made by women from a small community in the southern USA, but also gives you insight in to their lives and the necessity and joy they got from making these what can only be described as being works of art (and I'm an art student).
