Nawang Khechog here plays multiple wind instruments, most notably the Tibetan bamboo flute (a very large flute -- maybe three feet or so), but also the didgeridoo (he spent some time in Australia), the Incan panpipes, and a silver flute. The music verges on new age at many times (he has been noted for his work with Kitaro), which can be either a plus or a minus, depending on the listener. For something with a thicker tone, perhaps some music for the shakuhachi from the Fuke Zen sect in Japan would be a good choice.
