The U.S. release of Quickspace is something of an improvement over the U.K. version, as it adds two of the band's finest singles, "Rise" and "Friend," and removes "Mousetail." Bookending the original album with the two relatively fast-paced singles detracts somewhat from the stately flow of the rest of the material, but it does give a better overview of Quickspace's diverse sound.
