The transition from classical physics to quantum physics is a bit difficult unless it is made lucid and interesting. The earlier book by the author "In Search of the Schrodinger's Cat' did achieve this goal very well but was too big to be read in one go. Tis shorter version does so very well. I have recomended it to my students.
