VG in G+ jacket. In German, not ex-institutional. Hardcover in grey cloth, in yellow and black thin card jacket, 8vo. Apparent first issue. xix + 352pp. Index, illustrations, footnotes throughout. VG/G to G+. Lightly shaken with binding strong and square, though opens flat to several places with mild suggestions of separation. Cloth and titles clean, bright and sharp. Pages toned but clean and unmarked. Jacket is soiled, farirly heavily on rear and spine, lighter on front and flap with titles all strong and clear. Abrasion with light chips along upper and lower edges, surface loss along fore edges. Still, overall Gestalt is very strong and handsome in Brodart. Former Russian bookseller's label lower corner front pastedown.
