I am a layperson (non-lawyer) who has an interest in property rights issues. Also - as an elected official I have a specific interest. This is a good book but not for the faint of heart. It isn't a book to read from beginning to end to educate yourself. Each chapter is a standalone essay on a property rights subject. Skim it, pick out a chapter or two or three and read them. Then it serves as a reference.
