Dabei konnte ich f???r die Behandlung gewisser Abstufungen der projektiven Geometrie direkt diejenige Form der Punktrechnung zu Grunde legen, die ihr von meinem Vater in seiner Ausdehnungslehre verliehen ist, w???hrend ich f???r andere Teilgebiete der projektiven Geometrie den entsprechenden Kalkul erst zurechtzumachen hatte. Das gilt zum Beispiel von dem kombinatorischen Produkte linearer Abbildungen in der Ebene, zu dessen Begriff zwar gewisse Ansatze vor lagen, dessen Ausgestaltung im Einzelnen aber noch zu vollziehen blieb. Als Wegweiser diente mir hierzu wenigstens in einer Richtung meine schon im ersten Bande bei der Behandlung des Binaren gegebene Er kl???rung des kombinatorischen Produktes zweier Projektivit???ten derselben Geraden, wahrend die Fragestellung des Temaren, entsprechend der gr??????eren Mannigfaltigkeit seines Gebietes, nach anderen Seiten hin besondere Ziele hervortreten lie???, die fiir den Ausbau des Begriffs jener kombinatorischen Produkte weitere Anhaltspunkte boten.
