Volume two of which emerged in 2005 and was further helpfully subtitled "Hardcore -- Metal -- Punk -- Emo" to account for most all of the substrains fighting for supremacy among the submissions of both heavy hitters (Every Time I Die, A Life Once Lost, Zao, Madball) and newcomers alike (Boys Night Out, the Banner, LoveHateHero, etc.). Some of the highlights among the highlights include two-song contributors Every Time I Die's amusing "Guitared and Feathered," Boys Night Out's pop-emo "Composing," Misery Signals' surprisingly aggressive "Murder," departed stars From Autumn to Ashes' schizophrenically trendsetting "Take Her to the Music Store," and metalcore supremos Killswitch Engage's "Temple from the Within," from their reissued debut album.
