Cords Revealed
This book provides an excellent, accurate and very revealing look at the forms of cordage made in Japan and North Aemrica. The sheer variety of cord types is stunning to think about - our ancestors certainly had developed a fine sense of what worked, and presumably also what did not work. I wonder how much archeologists have yet to discover in the articles that are yet to be examined in detail. Well laid out work like this deserves a place on the library shelf of all serious cordage experts and cord users everywhere - easy language to understand and plenty of examples, although perhaps a bit light on the North American examples.
