Vor Ausbruch des Zweiten Weltkrieges waren einige wenige Zeitungen f???r Qualit???tsjournalismus verantwortlich. Diese wurden aber von der nationalsozialistischen Regierung ???berwacht. Dadurch existierte keine Pressefreiheit und den Menschen wurden nur solche Informationen mitgeteilt, die sie seitens der Regierung wissen durften. Es war somit ein leichtes, Propaganda und Falschinformationen im Volk zu verbreiten. In der Nachkriegszeit wurden aus einer Diktatur eine Demokratie und ein Sozialstaat. Im Laufe der Sozialisierung gab es durch die gewonnene Pressefreiheit eine unabh???ngigere Berichterstattung im In- und Ausland. Neue Medien, wie Fernsehen oder Radio kamen hinzu und erreichten immer mehr Menschen. Es konnte sich unabh???ngig von der Regierung ein Bild ???ber die Regierung gemacht werden. Heute ist man nur eine Website davon entfernt, Hintergrundwissen und Informationen ausfindig zu machen und mehr ???ber Ereignisse auf der gesamten Welt zu erfahren. Durch die fortschreitende Digitalisierung der letzten Jahre existiert eine regelrechte Informationsflut in den Medien und im Internet. F???r Nutzer der Medien ist es heutzutage nicht mehr leicht zu erkennen, ob es sich um wahre Informationen, Falschinformationen, Satire, pers???nliche Meinungen oder um Verschw???rungstheorien handelt. Durch eine Vielzahl an Informationsanbietern entsteht bei den Nutzern ein unbewusstes Unwissen gegen???ber der Quelle.
