This book of poetry is about Agony and Exertion. There were some crucial times, some crying nights, heartaches and heartbreaks and stressful days. As I went through each storm, it took me places no one wants to ever visit physically nor mentally. It is very dark and secluded away from the world, feeling alone, and confused, torn and some days I did not know my purpose. When you are hurt time after time, it gets overwhelming and you lose yourself, you lose who you are and your purpose. Being able to express myself through writing is my escape. I have dealt with anguish situations where I did not know what to do or to whom to go. As I grew older, I grew closer to God and allowed him to take all my troubles, and to be able to release burdens from my shoulders never felt so clear. As you read this book of poetry, some of you if not all will relate to the agony. Being able to share this with the world is opening up a pathway to healing; healing in the way God intended.
