Seller's Description:
None. Very Good. A three volume set of the poems of Felicia Hemans. Dated from copac. Appears to be three of six volumes. Felicia Hemans was an English poet. Her first poems were published in 1808 when she was only fourteen, and it was these poems that caught the attention of Percy Bysshe Shelley, who briefly corresponded with her. Heman's works appeared in nineteen individual books during her lifetime and were widely circulated after her death. She was valued as an important model of women's poetry though she has become less read in recent times. Her most successful work, Records of Woman, chronicles the lives of women both famous and anonymous. In green cloth bindings. Externally, smart with some rubbing and bumping. Spines browned. Hinges strained. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages bright with some spotting. Very Good.
