Wow! EJD does it again. I was beginning to worry about his ability to dive into the human condition after reading the first 2 Gideon novels. This story was a return to the writer I knew so well. There are times where his descriptive writing is pure poetry. I have to admit if you read this be prepared to accept the pornographic nature of the story. (Warning: Guys don?t read this book unless you have a wife or significant other to take all that sexual tension out on: my wife reaped all the benefits of this book!) The title is very self explanatory; it?s a story of a woman on a reckless journey through sexual pleasure with identical twins. I was amazed by how deeply she was entrapped by the sexual world. Everything from the books she reads to the conduct of her life points to desires of the flesh. Once you get past the sex or at least set aside your moral judgments you will find yourself seeking to understand her. I wanted to know her motivations or find the source of pain. The scary part of the story is the fact that we often don?t know the ?why?; we just do what we do. We find a way to reconcile the hypocritical lives we live in order to keep our sanity. The questions are the same: Can a woman have sex without love? Why doesn?t a successful woman settle down and marry? Why does a woman prefer not to be attached to a family or submit her desires to expectations? Often we don?t like the simple answer; ?Just because I want to do it?. The answer doesn?t make us feel good as a people it rubs against the structure of our society. This book puts that question and answer on display. My only problem with most of EJD?s novels is the disregard of safe sexual practices. It could mislead some new readers in the world. Finally, I recommend that you look into Henry Miller and Anius. EJD references both authors and I have to agree Miller?s Sexus, Nexus, and Plexus are interesting reads. Expand your reading world, I often use author references to find a new author. 5 of 5 stars for a great EJD novel.

This was Eric Jerome Dickey best love making story. I was so caught up in this because it is a former fictional dream of my own. The charater Nina was very strong, and she represented for us women who really just want it all. She got everything she wanted but had to go through some consequences, thry did not change her but keep her aware.
