As a baseball fanatic I have easily read over 500 books on the subject. I have never read a baseball book nearly as funny as this one. Kaiser and Fisher team up to make an enormously enjoyable book. There is a bit of minor - very minor- preaching by Kaiser regarding the decision the umpires made when the "resigned" and lost their jobs, pensions, etc. That is done so mildly that it doesn't irritate, and to his credit, Kaiser puts focus primarily on what all baseball fans love- funny (and new) stories. This book is a treasure.
