Good Condition. No Dust Jacket. Ex-library (church) copy with normal markings and attachment-no outer sticker. Pages are clean, but no longer white due to age toning. Binding shows hinge cracks-all minor for now. Cover wear as would be expected for age; corner scuffs, but limited edge wear. Spine sunning and wear. Text includes frontispiece photo of subject and another photo by Dr. A. R. Cook dated 1897. Text also includes only one b/w fold-out map of Uganda and Neighbouring [sp] by Stations of the Church Missionary Society. Text is story of much loved missionary to Uganda in the great age of the African missions. Pilkington spent much of his time translating the Bible using his knowledge in the African languages.
