I got this cd at a Goodwill because I recognized Jewel's name and knew she had a lovely voice. But when I tryuly listened to the lyrics and her singing, I was mesmerized. Her voice is so pure like an untainted crystal in the sunlight. It has the clarity of one of the singers in Celtic Woman, but there's a bit of contemporary soul. It isn't "absolutely terrific", but it's enough to lull one to sleep or calm someone down after she/he has been dumped. I don't regret buying this cd, even if it WAS on sale for $1.00. I am glad I am able to appreciate a musician who is still around. "Dreams last for so long, even after you're gone..."
