Although not marked as such, this copy is from the library of Pulitzer Prize-winning author Peter Taylor and his wife, the National Book Award-nominated poet Eleanor Ross Taylor. Laid in is a half-sheet with the title page transcribed, likely in Peter Taylor's hand, for delivery to a Charlotte-based book binder, along with an autograph note from the binder to Eleanor Taylor.
