In the early to mid-'60s Pete Fountain recorded a series of rewarding albums for Coral, none of which have yet been reissued on CD. This album, a quintet set with vibraphonist Godfrey Hirsch, pianist Stan Wrightsman, bassist Morty Corb, and drummer Jack Sperling, celebrated the opening of the clarinetist's New Orleans club, the French Quarter Inn.
