Strange but Cool
This is a collection of designs created by a modern persian artist. Some are geometric and repeating, some are difficult to describe. It is worthwhile to remember that this book predates computers and general knowledge of fractal patterns.
Some of the designs are sort of like Jackson Pollack, organized yet random. Some seem to be organized around a geometric rule. Some are like nature; complex but attractive.
I was expecting persian rug designs but it is it's own category. I like the book.
