Los modernistas, en su af???n de universalizaci???n y b???squeda de lo aut???ctono , se atrevieron, por primera vez, a cometer la herej???a de juntar el hecho con el hechizo. Y, en ese sorpresivo juego de contrarios, desaparecieron las fronteras entre distintos g???neros discursivos. Ese fue el comienzo de lo que despu???s Tom Wolfe llamar???a Nuevo Periodismo.
