This book was well received as a housewarming gift for a very good friend of long duration who bough an Amish farmhouse in Pennsylvania (I have a copy, too). He said it would help him make sense of all the folk-art antiquities he would be encountering in his new locale. The photos in the book while black and white are very good. We both recommend this book
