Sir Cuthbert Headlam was a Conservative MP from the 1920`s to his retirement in 1951, and this part of his diaries cover appeasement and the threat of war in the 1930`s, politics and strategy of the war period, and his record of the Labour Party administration after the war. Very slight wear to dustwrapper rear top edge else a crisp, fine copy.
