Seller's Description:
The book has been read but is in good condition. There is minor to moderate wear to the outside, including scuffs, corner dings, & edge curls. It stand/lays flat. The majority of pages are undamaged with minimal creasing. Used books should not be expected to come with working access codes or bundled media. Please ask to verify before purchase.
This book is great for parents whose children seem to be constantly our-of-control. It gives all parents options which offer better solutions than the "I yell , and they ignore me" way of unsuccessfully dealing with child/adult problems. Now, when noise has frequently replaced sound decisions, it is a welcome relief for any and all who deal with kids of any age.

Common Sense Parenting
This book shows you how to use natural consequences and your common sense in teaching children how to control themselves. After all, that is really what responsiblity is about, isn't it? The ability to put aside your wants and desires to complete a task or make a choice that is best for you and others around you. The authors are very good in giving you specific examples of situations that commonly arise and how to handle them. They are also very good at coaching you as the parent. When you follow their suggestions on how to handle your child as a parent, the success you and your child experience gives you more opportunities to do friendly things together in a mutually respectful atmosphere. Win/win situation!!
