Die soziale Lage Frankreichs und seines K???nigtums anschaulich zu machen, habe ich nicht vermocht. Dazu fehlen trotz Boutaric noch die Grundlagen; hier Wandel zu schaffen, ist Sache franz???sischer Forscher. Eine zweite Frage ist: Wie kommt das Papsttum zu seiner verh???ngnisvollen Stellung im Templerproze???? Denn auch der Forscher, der mit Leas halt losen Anschuldigungen nicht operiert und der zugibt, da??? Klemens V. Schlimmeres verh???tet hat, staunt doch ???ber die unendlich traurige Rolle, die dieser erste avignonesische Papst gespielt hat. Hier glaube ich volle Aufkl???rung geboten zu haben.
