Many years ago in the 80's I watched Dorothy Dent's PBS show, never missed it. Starting out I would try to follow along with my canvas, paints and brushes in hand, but 30 mins was really fast, so I purchased one of her instruction books and Wow, I could paint, her instructions are very easy to follow and the results were amazing to me. I have been oil painting now for many years and still I go back and review my Dorothy Dent painting instruction books. This book has great scenes to paint and Dorothy's techniques for teaching never fail. She is an amazing artist and teacher, she will always be one of my very favorites
