Cecil Alden. Very Good in Good jacket. First edition thus, from Dodd, Mead & Co. Text and illustrations are unmarked; pages are bright, though the page edges are age toned. There is a small card with a gift inscription glued to the first free end page. Binding is sturdy. There is a tiny bookseller's ticket glued inside the back cover. Dust jacket is good only-the front flap is detached from the front panel of the dust jacket and the front panel is detached from the spine. All the pieces of the dust jacket are still present. Dust jacket is edgeworn, with chips missing from both the top and bottom edges. There is a water stain at the top corner of the front panel of the dust jacket with a small corresponding stain on the front cover. This stain does not bleed through to the inside of the book. 67pp.
