It was transcribed from the records of the British State Paper Office, it contains the names of over 11,000 immigrants. Data to be found within: names & ages, former places of residence, and the names of ships in which they embarked. The use of the book is greatly enhanced by a 66 page index, giving the Christian as well as the family name of all immigrants cited in various lists throughout the work.
