Edge and corner worn, some minor fraying at the base of the spine, corners are bumped and rubbed, pages are toning quite heavily, front hinge is a little weak, small chip out of the upper corner of the front pastedown and lightly scuffed and scratched, overall a very clean first Winston edition! 324 very clean, unmarked and uncreased pages! Frontispiece in black and white (Andy saves Colonel Preston). Very very scarce printing! Red cloth with black lettering and a picture on the spine, front cover is a red pastedown with a boy in uniform running and a building and clouds in the background! Wonderfully well-preserved! Extremely rare and hard-to-find!
