After reading it and seeing again the ter rible havoc that war made; the dead, the dying, the wounded, the sick, the tired foot-sore and weary soldier, the sufferings of helpless women and children, the de struction of property, the wreck and ruin every where, the proof reader joins with General Sherman in saying: War IS Hell.
