Book Review of the One Year Devotional Bible
Designed for women and in the very readable New Living Translation version, The One Year Bible For Women NLT is a perfect choice for any woman as gift or for personal daily reading.
A lovely, feminine looking Bible one can keep at either the bedside or quiet place for quick access. Lovely pale watermark on all pages make this very a very attractive Devotional Bible for women.
This would be a perfect gift for any woman at Christmas, Birthday, Mother?s Day or at any time for the woman who loves the Word.
Each day contains an Old Testament Scripture, a New Testament Scripture, and a selection from Psalms or Proverbs.
Of particular interest to me were the quotes from several wise women such as Ruth Bell Graham, Hannah Hurnard, and Emily Dickinson as well as several wise men such as Henry Ward Beecher, Henry Rowland, and Thomas Kemper placed at the end of each months readings.
Designed to take about fifteen minutes each day to read, suggested reading plans are for one, two, and three years make this a versatile Bible.
I thoroughly enjoyed reviewing this Bible and would recommend it highly.
