some secrets must be exposed
Angie Wiznowski comes from a strict family upbringing. After one hot Texas night ten years ago, she carries a secret that has haunted her all these years.
Angie has a daughter, Erin, but she is a single mother and no one knows about the father.
An accident on Erin's 10th birthday changes all of this and makes many changes for both mother and daughter. Can these changes be good or bad? Can the changes ruin things for everyone involved?
Hardison Hollister, a Texas District Attorney who is running for district judge was the driver of the truck that hit Erin as she ran out in front of the truck while chasing a beach ball. Hardy doesn't need this since it could ruin his political future. His father offers to do anything to cover up this accident and willing to pay off the child's mother if need be.
Hardy is more concern over Erin's injuries than his career as he sees the future very dim for Erin and the injuries she has to face. A broken leg, ribs and a concussion will not allow the little girl much fun this summer. Hardy refuses to leave Angie and Erin's side during all of this recovery.
This constant concern tears Angie apart with the guilt of her 10 year secret until she confesses to Erin's father the whole truth which is not easy as Erin's father is none other than Hardy himself.
The shock of this secret and reasons she kept them all these years proves to be quite interesting and something they all must deal with now.
