Carey Street, Lincoln's Inn Fields), which I had arranged for the study of those branches of chemistry and microscopical enquiry which have a special bearing on medicine. Several courses of lectures and demonstrations were given during the seven succeeding years; but of late, increased work in other departments has prevented me from devoting so much of my time to this branch of teaching. The course on urine included oral lectures and practical demonstrations, in which every pupil performed the experiments with his own hands, according to the directions given in the Tables, which will be found at page 440 of the present work.
