If you are long-time fan of Anne Rivers Siddons, you will slip into this book as you would slip into a well-worn pair of faded Levi's. The characters are familiar -- perhaps a little too familiar -- but compelling and lovable all the same. The usual themes are tapped -- love, loss, family, friendship, heartache -- but are mixed together and stirred up into a terrific story. Even if I could have predicted the ending, I would always ask for more. As one who has read Siddon's books over and over again, I look forward as always to her next book.
