A aquel articulo remito al lector, si me es l???cito citar como de algun'peso mi pr???pia opinion que, en suma, les es favo rable siempre que reunen las circunstancias debidas. Cierto que no es poco lo que puede decirse y se dice contra las refundiciones pero todos esosargumentos en contra, se puede responder con uno en pro que en mi concepto no tiene r???plica 6 hemos de renunciar ver en la escena una multitud de admirables composiciones antiguas, que como las cribienon sus autores, no se pueden representar 6 es preciso refundir las; y como no creo posible probar que debamos renunciar ??? verlas te presentadas, probado se est??? que es necesario refundirlas. Es dif???cil, muy dificil hacerlo; esto no es mas que una razon entre mil para que no se encarguen de tan arduo trabajo sino hombres capaces de llevarlo ??? cabo con acierto. El se???or Hartzenbusch lo ha hecho en varias ocasio nes, y su mismo ejemplo justamente un argumento en apoyo de mi opinion arriba citada, y una prueba de la utilidad que reportan de tales trabajos ios ingenios que se dedican ellos con aplicacion y conciencia. Ya he dicho y evidente que al profundo estudio de nuestro antiguo teatro que ellos han impuesto al se???or Hartzenbusch, debe este poeta gran parte de ese sabor castizo, de ese grande inter???s y de esa singular maestria en la pintura de los caracteres que distinguen ??? la mayor parte de sus obras.
