Contents pages unmarked and pristine. Polish-born painter Herman first visited the Welsh mining village of Ystradgynlais in 1944, setting up a studio there and staying for the next 11 years. Eleven pages of his own writings introduce 50 pages of his trademark black-and-white washes depicting life in the Valleys. Also includes List of Illustrations, Selected Bibliography and Biographical notes. This is a particularly large book and will require extra postage outside the UK.
