From 19th century scientists to Peter the Wild Boy, Collins highlights possible a/A figures through history - some well known, others obscure. He also talks about other subjects not often touched on including AI (or "robots") being developed to interact as teaching tools for a/A kids, and assistance dogs being trained for special needs children by prison inmates (a program that both benefits the children who receive the animals and assists in the rehabilitation of convicted felons). I'd recommend this to anyone interested in Autism/Asperger's, whether they know someone on the spectrum, work with them, or are just interested in the subject.
