This is a classic.
This is a classic book. Wonderful exegesis on the whole of Nietzsche's philosophy. Kaufmann guides the reader through the philosopher's early thought, with all it's insight and problems, all the way to his mature, final philosophy with penetrating lucidity and care. Throughout, Kaufmann raises questions that challenge Nietzsche's thought. Some are used rhetorically to further elucidate the philosopher's position, while others are left unanswered, allowing the reader to form his own conclusions. Great book!
